I knew I'd be in for trouble when I signed up for Trade Me, but let's be honest, I always get a good deal and get stuff I like, so in the end I'm happy. This last week I spotted a great Dr Who poster which I really wanted to buy; then I noticed the seller had lots of different posters, and I could combine postage if I bought them together. So in the end I got three of them, and I couldn't be happier! These are not little either- they are full sized things, 61 x 91cm! The only question now is do I put them up as is, or do I get them laminated or even framed? I'll have to ponder that one. Anyway, here they are!
This is the Dr Who one; it's from the 5th season, and is supposed to have been painted by Vincent van Gogh after he saw this in a dream. If you haven't watched the new Dr Who series with Matt Smith, I recommend you do!
Now this one I couldn't go past! I have been a Bond fan for many a year, and although I haven't really caught on to the latest ones, I love all the old classics. Sean Connery is just *so* damn classy! And Roger Moore is just hilarious! This is a great collector's item and I will probably get it at least laminated.
And finally, the pièce de résistance, this wonderful shot of that famous scene in the original Bond movie, Dr No. She is a very beautiful but very innocent girl! I couldn't resist! The poster is in black and white, so I made the whole photo black in white to get the colour (or lack of) right. She's up on my wall already!
