You may recall hearing a little while ago about my poor, sad dishwasher! His springs had broken and the door would slam down on your shins. To remind us all he had a sticker on the handle, to which I added a sad face which made me feel sad when I looked at him! But this was not the end of the matter; the story continues...
A couple of weeks later, he became even sadder that he had still not been fixed. As a result, his warning changed to 'Remember- I am still broken.' Added to this, a few tears began to drop from his eye. By this stage, he was pretty battered and bruised, and a big crease down the middle of his face made it look as though he had some sort of scar. His stick was wearing off so he needed a bit of sellotape to stay on too. Whereas he was originally sad in a cute kind of way, he was now sad in a pathetic kind of way.

So this is how he remained until one day, in the magical time of school holidays, a little man came to fix his springs. In a trice, he was good as new. In fact, a little better than new; his springs are now rather exuberant, but all the same it's better than getting your shins knocked in! The sad face, which for obvious reasons had disappeared when the man came, was soon replaced by a happy face. Not just any happy face, but likely the happiest one you will ever see on a dishwasher!
And they all lived happily ever after!
The End
